About Alanna

At the core of my practice, I am driven by a fundamental objective — to empower individuals to embark on transformative journeys of self-discovery and growth. I believe in the inherent strength within each person and strive to inspire and motivate my clients to unlock their full potential. Together, we navigate the path to resilience, healing, and the realization of personal power.

With a deep commitment to promoting mental and emotional well-being, I am passionate about creating a therapeutic space where individuals and families can find support, healing, and the tools to navigate life's complexities. I offer a safe and supportive space for those grappling with anxiety or depression to explore your emotions, develop coping strategies, and work towards a brighter, more resilient future. As both a Social Worker and an Ontario Certified Teacher, I am also uniquely positioned to support teachers and education workers who are struggling with work-related anxiety, stress or burnout.

I also offer comprehensive support to parents, mothers, and individuals navigating relationship challenges. Recognizing the unique emotional journey of motherhood, I specialize in supporting mothers through postpartum adjustments, maternal mental health, and the various facets of navigating this transformative phase of life. Whether you're a first-time parent navigating the challenges of parenthood or seeking guidance in fostering positive parent-child relationships, I am here to provide compassionate support tailored to your family's unique needs.

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and collaborative. I draw from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Mindfulness, tailoring the approach to meet your specific needs and goals.

I am a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), and the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Windsor (2016), a Bachelor of Arts Honors Specialization in Psychology from Western University (2006), and a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University (2008). I am also an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.

Embark on a journey towards positive change and well-being. If you are seeking support in parenting, relationship building, mental health, or career development, I am here for you.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to help decide if I'm the right fit for you.
